As they have been posted on photo bucket I thought I'd be safe in posting (as I'm on a roll!LOL)
Margaret is the inspiration behind this swap and works tirelessly to keep us all on track and is already think about next year apparently!!!
This month is O and P...
O is for Ocean
Initially I spread some golden light molding paste through a stencil, once dry sprayed with glimmer mists.
The seahorse (underwater set) was stamped onto thick tracing paper with distress ink and heat embossed. The background is stamped with mixture of underwater set and wisteria lane. Now I absolutely adore the underwater stamp set but for some reason really struggle using it but I was quite pleased how this turned out as it's a bit moody and the seahorse is transparent, which they are a bit aren't they?!
P is for Ponder
Now with P I used Crafty Individuals C286 stamp which includes images of Whitby Abbey (which I just happened to visit last year and took some pics). I inserted the pic into a word document and played around with the basic paint effects and found one that looked like distress ink that has been sprayed with water, how cool I thought! As you do!
So I coloured the tag with distress ink and sprayed with water! Stamped it with the same colour and didn't like it so tried with all my might to over stamp with archival ink but as I wasn't very accurate it gave a ghost effect which I quite liked actually. I then stamped the text from the same sheet the bottom and used a typed word ponder to finish off.
Anyway I'm off, thanks for stopping by and feel free to leave a comment.
Happy Craftin
Rebecca
